Zoo Management Platforms Every Park Should Try.
Sorry for the grainy photo on this #wildlifewednesday. This shot was taken on an old flip phone about 10 years ago...back when phones flipped. I used to manage the grounds operations at a local attraction destination. I had an early morning ritual every other day of driving the entire park to get a feel for how things were looking. This beauty had the very same ritual I think. We crossed paths in this same area at least once every 5-10 days. Typically I would give him/her the right of way and just observe what he/she was up to. This particular morning I inched a bit closer to snap a pic. In an hour this park would fill with guests and get very busy. I'd spend my day setting up outdoor events, patrolling the camp ground, managing crews, responding to calls, completing work orders, and scheduling the next few days. It was the mornings I loved the most. #wednesdaydiscoveryjournal #wildlife #fox #earlymornings #parkmaintenance #goundsmanagment #parkoperations #landscaping #getoutside #workoutside

āEverything one here was brilliant. Thereās no denying that. Iām in awe of it all, but I also know we have to be more careful. Gentically modifying a new dinosaur? Weāve already played with their DNA. Weāve already tested things.Ā
Billy wasnāt going to be so easily manipulated. He knew of the DANGERS that these dinosaurs brought. He had seen them up close and personal. This game they played---it was a dangerous one.
āI know youāre NOT heartless. I know thereās a heart, and youāre a smart woman, Claire. But you had to have learned something from all of this.ā
āI donāt want the creatures to die. Thereās still so much to learn, but maybe itās time to step back again. They survived after the first incident. They created their own world with their own order. Opening another park---itās a BAD idea.ā
