Fall has arrived at Dempsey Park! A quick message with a few nearby events.

This afternoon join Dempsey Park-ite Emma Biggs and her father Steven at the North York Central Library as they host a session on Gardening in the Children's' Storyroom from 2-3pm based on their book GROW GARDENERS: Kid Tested Gardening with Kids. http://www.growgardeners.com/the-book/

Check out the list of Parks and Movies around the city getting free outdoor screenings courtesy of TIFF40 and Park People. We caught SONG OF THE SEA last week. The remaining 8 screens all look good. If you haven’t seen MANUFACTURED LANDSCAPES it is a must (except it is in Mississauga).
This Week the Mobile Mabelle trailer travels to Bell Manor Park on Thursday July 23, for a special workshop with Stonegate Community Health Centre, produced in partnership with the City of Toronto's Cultural Hotspot Project. Everyone is welcome; come join in!
