while I'm being controversial, you're allowed to critique the cast, y'all. I've been here since the beginning, I understand why people are apprehensive of doing so (I wouldn't want to come off like those people who were wildly misogynistic to Marisha in c1 either).
But they made 9 million dollars in just ad revenue. The develop books with WOTC, the make comics and music, their characters are placed into games, they interact with celebrities for charity. It's not a home game anymore. It's not eight people getting together on weekends streaming their game, it's a business and franchise. If they do something shitty, you can say it!
The CR cast clearly are good people and want to be better people in anyway they can, they've proven it over the years, but pretending that it's impossible for them to do any harm, or that critiquing the game in anyway is overstepping the bounds of your place as a consumer of the media is, frankly, laughable. It's the same as saying you can't critique people who stream games because they're playing them at home. It's a career! If they do something bad, say it!
(And this isn't about the frivolous/unfair shit people get on the cast's case for. Nor I'm not saying every critique is valid, but immediately shutting down any critique "because it's a homegame" isn't somehow better (My thoughts on what is and isn't a valid critique of the show is for another post, though. This is just saying that making a critique of the show isn't an inherently bad thing))
