I feel good about yesterday. We got a huge pizza for dinner, but we brought the dogs in the car and they liked it. We have tomorrow off which I am so excited for.

Tea review number 4: Hot and iced edition
Hello, my fellow tea drinkers! On this wonderfully dreary day I will be reviewing Paromi's Coconut Almond black tea. I bought this from Whole Foods down in Arlington, VA for my boss when I went to see the wonderful Bo Burnham (!!!!).
What's really cool about Paromi is that their packaging are these neat amber glass jars. According to their website, the jars help keep out moisture, light and other harmful things that could make your tea taste kinda poopy and weak. I'm not gonna lie, but I did buy this tea because I thought the fact it came in a jar was pretty damn cool. For my eco-friendly people out there, the teabags themselves are biodegradable, which is pretty great too.
Now, when I opened the jar and got a tea bag out there was a very potent smell of coconut more than anything else. I was a bit afraid that this would taste overly sweet and that the coconut would completely block out the almond taste. My fears got even worse when I steeped the tea for a whole 5 minutes and had to deal with the strong and sweet coconut aroma.
After 5 minutes, I threw away the teabag (which totally reminds of me of Harney & Sons silk teabags) and took a small sip since the tea was still hot. I was pleasantly surprised to taste tons of almond and not a lot of coconut, even though the smell of the tea was the exact opposite. The almond taste faintly reminded me of how almond extract smells like. There was no sweetness in the tea at all! I drank about half of the cup and then put it in the fridge so I could try the tea iced.
I have to say this tea tastes much better iced than hot. The almond and coconut flavors come out much more and if you add a Splenda (which I totally did), the sweetness brings out the coconut flavor.
What's the verdict? I give this a 7 out of 10. You have to be a fan of a nutty flavor and the smell of coconut in order to drink Paromi's Coconut Almond tea. It's kinda pricey too, so if you have the money for it, then I say go for it!
