Day 1 of the 5-Day B/W Challenge after being nominated by my friend Scott Angle. This image is from a self-portrait series shot with 4x5 b/w Polaroid film right after 9/11 in NYC during my senior year at Parsons School of Design. I didn’t leave my apt for almost a month because I fell into a deep depression while in the city the air we breathed was filled with a fog of ash from the death from ground zero. I nominate one of my best friends who was also a senior at Parsons that year, Andrea Nicoletti. She’s an amazing talented photographer that I admire greatly. The challenge is to post five b/w photos in five days along with five nominated fellow photographers. ‪#‎5daybwchallenge‬
