He walked into the nursery and picked up the crying jotun baby. "What is it baby?" He cooed to her. "Hungry?"
The baby snuffled, her little fox ears quivering in her distress.
He stroked her hair and went over to the small fridge that they kept in the room for easy access feeding. "Its alright Love. Papa has you."
She let out a little whine."
He sooed and sat down in the chair and pressed the bottle to her lips offering the bottle. "Eat and everything will be better."
Lies stumbled down after a moment.
"Your so pretty." he cooed to the little girl who took to to bottle then smiled at Lies. "Good morning."
"I hope I did not wake you up.
He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Did the babies? How did you sleep?"
"No I woke myself." She smiled softly
He nodded focusing his eyes back to Alaska. "Did you sleep well?"
She nodded. "I did. yes. You?"
"Indeed." She finished the bottle and Image moved the little girl to burp her. "Alaska woke up first surprisingly."
"Oh? That's ...a first really."
Image nodded. "Yeah, She drank the bottle, but she is not settled." he stroked her hair once he heard the small burp
He nodded once more. "Aye." Standing he went to the changing table, changed her dipper and put on a new onezy and picked her back up. "What’s going on baby?" Holding her to him she cuddled up. "Ohhh, Cuddles."
Lies came over to gently check her over.
"Does everything look alright?"
"She's fine just touch hungry."
Image nodded and held her close. "Should we start giving her more milk?"
Lies shook her head, “just cuddle her.”
"Don't have to tell me twice." He smiled sitting back in the rocking chair.
"How are the boys doing."
Image smiled and moved so that he was sitting on the floor with Lies, letting her join in the cuddles. "Good." Alaska started making some soft noises.
"Are you well?" he asked looking at her, chuckling as Alaska's ears twitched
"Good. happy to have all you."
"And we are very happy to have you too." He smiled.
"I love you." He whispered
"Love you too my husband."
Image leaned up kissing her cheek. Alaska making more noises looking back and forth between the two
Lies looked down at her and smiled. "What's wrong baby?"
She made some more noises her ears twitching.
Lies tilted her head cupping her cheek
The little girl smiled.... for the first time at Lies. Image smiled brightly.
Lies smiled back, kissing her forehead. "My snow fox."
She made a pleased sound, still smiling.
"Our darling daughter." Image whispered softly as Alaska made more noises
"I think she's trying to speak..."
"She is a very quick learner." He spoke, "Tell us a story Alaska." Knowing that she would not get the words out but it was encouraging her to keep trying
She kept talking, babbling away.
She looks up at Image and grins
Image looked at lies and smiled back and as she slowed her babbling down he chuckled. "That was a brilliant story Alaska."
Image smiled "We love you baby." His heart was swelling, spending this time with her, the others still asleep, this time with just their youngest daughter. "Such a good girl."
"Daddy Papa!" Another voice called. "Looks like Rebekka-beth is awake now." Alaska's ears twitched to attention.
"I'll get her." Lies kissed his cheek and her forehead before going to get Moon.
Moon was bouncing in her crib holding onto the railing. "Daddy!"
"Baby." She plucked the little girl up
She wrapped her arms around Lies's neck. "How you Daddy?"
"I’m good and how is my baby?"
"Good" She smiled. "Bunny in crib" She leaned back to get the new toy. "Papa gave her.... to me last night."
"did he? Did you name her?"
"Arora!" She smiled "And....and....and he said there was a.... a surprise." She was getting herself so excited that she was repeating words.
She smiled and carried her down stairs. "Moon says you have a surprise for her."
"I think there is." Image spoke standing up still carrying Alaska.
"Yay! 'Ska get surprise too?"
"Surprise!" she cooed accepting the answer.
"Who is your favorite princess?"
Image went over to the pantry, where the Sippy cups were placed and pulled out the Jasmine cup. Earning an immediate squeal from her.
"You get a big girl cup." Lies cooed
"I know but I think you can handle it."
"Yeah?" she asked holding the Sippy cup
She nodded and gently took the cup filling it with milk. She handed it back
She looked at it for a moment her eye brows knitted together. She tilted it up trying to drink from it getting some on her. "Oh no."
"Its okay baby." She assured
She took out a paper towel and cleaned her up
"Hard." She whispered holding the cup with both hands
"I know but you can do it."
she made a face. "I try latter? I not thirsty right now. Thank you for the big girl Jasimine cup." She smiled at the two of them.
"You are welcome darling." She kissed her forehead.
She returned the kiss to her cheek and leaned forward to kiss Image's cheek. "Kiss As'ka?
Image shifted Alaska so it was easier and moon kissed her cheek getting a happy squeek from the baby.
Image smiled as moon giggled. "That was the first time." She beemed. "It was good"
"Yes it was." Lies agreed.
She smiled. "Can.... We watch Jasmine? Before babies wake up?"
Image went to answer Moon, cut odd byt both the boys starting to cry.
"Yes they are." Lies chuckled
"Take Alaska?" Image asked passing her off. "I'll take care of them."
Image smiled and went into the room where the two were. Getting Philip first, since he was louder and fed him checking to see is Adair needed his dipper changed.
"Are they okay?" Lies had put the two girls in the play pen.
Image nodded. "Adair needs to be changed, Philip too but he is chucking the bottle down at the moment."
“So I see." She smiled. "Here let me help.
"Take Adair?" He asked jesturing to the baby in the crib.
She nodded and took him, getting him cleaned and changed
Once Philip was settled he was changed and silence filled the room. "There we go." He smiled. "Perfect."
"Shall we take them down to join their siblings.
Image nodded. "I think so." He spoke scooping Philip back up.
She carried Adair down, cooing and talking to him
Image did the same swaying him getting laughter from their son
"Our perfect kids. All dozen of them."
Image laughed agreeing. "Aye, Yes, They are very perfect."
"Wouldn't have any other family."
"Because we have the best." He responded kissing her cheek
"Are we still going to get the play set today, or is coulson coming over pushing that back a day?"
He hugged her from behind looking at the babies. "Still taking the oldest of the four?" He asked not saying her name that would gather her attention.
"When would you like to go? Do you want to talk to Vail first?"
"I will watch these children. You go talk to Vail."
Lies nodded and went to find vali
Vail knew that he was going to come for him sooner or later, so when there was a knock on the door he sighed and gave permission to enter
"Lemon juice?" She asked as she came in
"I did not think it would make him raw. Just a litte bite." He put the pillow over his head.
She sighed. "Next time reserve it for an enemy."
"I apologized countless times. I did not know it would be bad."
"You are to get him a new one."
He nodded silently, his pillow moving the only sign that he was responding.
"And you will let him pick it out."
"Yes father, I know I messed up on this, really I do, and I feel horrid for it."
She moved the pillow and kissed his forehead. "I know love but that is your punishment. I think its rather fair."
"I am not complaining about the punishment father, Hell if he wanted me to pay someone to try them out for him before we baught it I would. I am... for once.... telling you how I feel about this."
She gathered him into a hug
He did not make eye contact but hugged her back
"I hurt my brother, there is not a reason to smile after thant."
"I'm sure he's already forgiven you for the accident."
"I really haven’t seen him since." He responded "He withdrew and I tried to talk to him..."
Lies sighed and gently pet his hair
He sighed and shook his head. "Forget it, it could be worse, I have done worse. I don't want to talk about it any more."
"Then don't but don't withdraw from me."
"I...." He sighed. "I just know what I have done in the past, put it together from Narvi's nightmares. I suppose it is in my nature to hurt my family when I don't intend to."
"Sorry I should have worded that better."'
"Vali...it was an accident. Fenrir will forgive you as Narvi has."
"Sorry, I am still.... I don't even know..."
Lies mentally called Fenrir to Vali's room hugging him tightly
After a moment Fenrir came to the door
He stepped inside and sat in a chair and Vail tilted his head away
He knows his punishment. You two will do that on your own time." She mentally shared the conversation had.
He nodded. "Alright. might take a few days for it to happen but it works for me." He answered not really addressing the silent conversation
"Mean while you two shall talk." She stood kissing Vali's forehead then Fenrir's. "I love you both."
"Love you too Father." Fen spoke and Vail nodded. "love you father."
She smiled. "We are going to go see about a play ground set. While we are out an about is there any requests for activities? Pool, tree house?"
"Both would be nice." Vail spoke still in a low tone. "If you are offering"
Image knocked on the door where Lies, Fenrir and Vail were. "Sorry to interrupt but.... the news is talking about how the Norse calendar is ending today....I am rather confused.
Lies frowned. "Just what I needed." She goes out and down stairs, sitting next to chosen and sentinel. "I suspect I'll be getting a call soon..."
Image followed her, looking confused.
And she was right, he phone rang, coulson.
She answered the phone. "Hello?"
"Loki... Still have plans for our dinner tonight? Or are you planning something else?"
"I assure you I'm not trying to end the world both thors are sitting next to me watching this ridiculousness and Jor is...." She looked to Chosen. "Where is Jor?"
"Outside playing with the dogs." She answered.
"outside playing and Fenrir doesn't have kids." She pointed out.
"Good." Coulson spoke "So dinner is still on then 6pm?" He was going to watch the house and follow if they let just in case.
Image stayed in the door way of the living room
"Of course. Is roast chicken alright?" She asked, sitting back and snorting at the stories and legends.
"That is fine." coulson spoke. "So how much of this is true?"
"...some. But I am hoping to break that cycle in this reincarnation."
"What do you mean about that?"
"Papa!" Moon called getting Image's attention. he walked over and picked her out of the pen.
She smiled weakly. "The flood Coulson...I had a hand in it."
He nodded. "Very well, just don't do anything today that would bring the end of the world."
Humor snuck into her voice. "Does buying a play set, pool and materials for a tree house count?"
"No, but we don't want you being triggered into doing anything. Understand?"
"I'll bring Sentinel as a guard."
"Sounds good. I will see you for dinner."
"I'm sure one of you will see me sooner then that." She sighed
"I don't know what you are talking about." Then hung up.
"Daddy!" Moon spoke "WE go shopping!"
She closed her phone. "I'm sure. Come along Sentinel. You get to play guard to make sure I don't make the world go boom."
"Boom!" Moon repeated raising her hands above her head. Sentinel stood to his feet as well.
"Very well then, a Day out would not hurt anything."
Image smiled at them holding moon. "Who wants to drive?"
Image nodded and when they got outside put moon in the back seat offered her the Sippy cup that she took and held on to and sat in the passenger front seat. Sentinel sat in the back next to Rebekka-beth
Lies slide into the drivers seat and headed to town
Image smiled as they drove. "I only know what my creator let me know. What is the concern with the calendar ending?"
"...Loki is the beginning of the end." She states softly. "Hati and skoti will devour the sun and moon. Jormungandr will poison thor and when I deal the final stroke on Odin all will burn."
"Oh." He whispered takeing it in. "Odin is already dead, so it can't happen can it?"
"No. Chosen is king now. If I wanted to end the cycle it would be thor I would have to kill. And since I have no urge to do that..."
"The it does not end." Image spoke. "I understand."
She smiled. "Sides I only just got my children back."
He smiled back at her. "All of them too."
Image smiled going to speak when moon spoke up. "I did it!"
"She did what?" Lies looked up at her in the rearview mirror.
"Big girl cup" Moon cheered.
Lies laughed softly. "yay!"
"I big girl now?" She asked leaning forward in her seat. "Proud?"
"Yay!" She cheered. "I like when you proud."
Image smiled. "And we are happy when you are happy." He reached back and put is hand out for her to hold and play with his fingers.
Lies nodded smiling peacefully even as she pulled up at Ikea.
Image smiled and got out of the gar to pick moon up.
"Shopping." She said happily. "What we buy Daddy?"
"Things to play on outside."
"Fun stuff!" She spoke image nodded walking along side Lies looking back to make sure Sentinel was there. "Yes very fun stuff"
Lies kissed her forehead, stopping a moment. When she felt like she was being watched
The sent Fitz back out and he was watching them from a few rows over. "Its shield." Image spoke "They have been watching us for a days, they were going to send someone out today."
"Of course. Ah well. Lets go."
"Are you alright with being here with them watching?" He asked keeping close to lies putting moon in a cart
"Yes. I have nothing to hide." She gently tapped Moon's nose with a smile
Image nodded and chuckled as moon made a playfull face at the tap
She smiles. "Lets go fine a play set shall we."
"Yes!" Moon smiled cheering as they walked. "They have a few here." Image started "One in mind?"
"The largest." She grinned.
Image chuckled. "That works for me"
She nodded and lead the group to the play sets, kids stopping to look at Sentinel.
Image smiled and looked around.
Making eye contact to lies he smiled. "I am here. Insureing you do nothing wrong."
He chuckled. "Act as if I am not here." He prompted
"Why would I do that when you are helping to put it together?
'Am I know." He chuckled.
Image chuckled And looked around. "Do you see one you like Moon?"
She clicked her tongue "I don't know."
Lies laughed and slow pushed her along
As they walked image pointed to one. "How about that one"

Image smiled and got moon to look at it. "Wow...." She whispered "Yes"
"Better if pink." She spoke and nodded. "Yes, pretty!."
Image smiled. "It would look good in pink."
"Then that one!' Moon responded.
Lies laughed and pulled out a price scanner.
It rang up at $950. Image took a step closer. Not bad for the biggest set they have here.
"Not a bad cost. Pool now?"
Image nodded. "Above ground pool, yes. How big are you thinking"
"I think I saw one that had a deep and a shallo end. Like an in ground pool above ground."
"That would be good for the littles."
"That is what I was thinking. It was more than the play set." he sxplained.
"Are we able to afford it?"
He kissed her cheek. "We have pleanty. I have it undercontrol." Image smiled. "We need things for a tree house right?"
He smiled. "We got this. Get the Stuff for the tree house and I will tell a worker about the pool?"
"Okay. Moon stay with you?"
Image nodded picking her up out of the cart. "Sentinel, Can you walk the cart with Lies? to put the stuff in?"
The thunderer nodded. "Of couse."
"Of course." he smiled to Lies grabbing hold of the cart.
Image bounced moon on his hip getting her to laugh as he went to find a worker.
Poor Fitz stared before going after sentinel and lies.
Lies smiled. "We need a good strong wood. Long screws."
Fitz walked after them keeping a few rows behind.
"Am I putting this together as well." He chuckled looking for Lies said was needed.
"No no. I'll do that." She answered. "I'm only working half days to start so."
"Are you sure?" He asked. "How is your leg holding up? Will you be able to?"
"Its a little sore but I can manage it."
"You are walking better." He commented.
"Image did some massage and something popped."
"Something popped?" He questioned. "And it helped?
"Maybe have Frigga look it over? Just to insure that everything is alright?"
She smiled and stopped giving him a hug.
He returned the hug stroking her back.
"You are a good brother."
"As are you. Chosen is very lucky to have been raised with you."
"Nay, she would very much agree."
She chuckled and hugged him again.
He gladly returned the hug. "It is good to see your family as they are. Embers and Ashes, I have never seen them smile before."
"No?" She started walking again
"No, The Creator.... Hurt them constantly. It is so good to see them happy."
She clenched her teeth. "I would of killed to have my children and he abused the privilege? I was too kind with his death."
"In honesty, any death would have been to kind. He was.... from the start he was like that. He married Glut, for a year and the three of them took it hard. But even growing up animals would just go missing, and we found them weeks later in his possion. No matter what was done he could not be stopped." He sighed s they kept walking.
"Many would think that the punishment Odin gave him was harsh, too much so. But when you look back at his life... The cells was the best way to contain him. But he made image so close to him, when we tested, we honestly thought it was him. He had used clones before."
"Are we sure he's really gone then?" A bit of fear showed in her eyes.
'From what I can tell. I have been doing searches with what magic I do have, and I have not seen anything that would even come close to matching."
She nodded some. She looks a touch pale.
"If I see anything I will let you know, But Know that it has been silent. Focused on your family, Grow, Smile."
"There is no need to thank me brother." He spoke as Image walked back.
"Alright they have the pool set up ready, They want to know if they should deliever it since it is rather large."
"Still." She turned back to Image. "Yes."
Image nodded. "The play set too?" He looked between the two. "did I interupt.?"
"No." She kissed him softly. "And probably best. the stuff for the tree house too."
Image nodded. " Then we did not really need the cart." he spoke returning the kiss.
"No probably not." She laughed. "Its was fun though."
he nodded. "Did you pick out the stuff for the tree house?" the exclone asked.
He nodded. "Lead the way."
"Daddy, Papa and I went on an ad-adventure."
"Oh did you?" Lies asked, smiling.
She nodded. "Yes! It was fun! we went ALL around"
"Sounds like a grand adventure my darling."
They walked to the lumber area And moon looked around with a look of wonder "woah"
"I heard red wood was good." Lies commented
Image nodded. "It is a thick wood for sure."
She started get the things together, humming.
Image smiled standing next to her catching Fatz jump out of the ile opening. "Our waiter followed us."
"I see that." She chuckled.
"And he is rather jumpy."
"Cause I found him out the last time." She sighed. "I'm not feeling as nice today." She looked over in Fitz direction. "Oh little shield boy. I know you are there. May as well join us."
He paused and walked over to them, no longer hiding the scottish accent he spoke. "Hello."
crossed her arms. "You are...really bad at undercover work." She smiled wryly at him
"I am a scientist. Not trained in this manner."
"Yes boyo I can tell." She considered him. "What type of screw would you suggest for building a tree house?"
"Well when it comes to being sturdy you will want to use a long Philips head screw, if you can get it in a nail gun that would be best."
"its a shock to the tree, and by screwing it into the tree you are giving it a path to follow to come out. Screws help with that with the ridge but with the shock there is no path for it to follow.
Lies nodded before smiling. "Thank you boyo. Now a tip for you if you are but willing to listen."
He nodded jumping to a conclusion, "Tip...the waiter that I took theplace off got the full tip plus what he was paid."
"Okay two tips. Wait for the person with experience to talk before jumping to a conclusion. Humans have a saying: "Assuming makes and ass of you and me both." She chided.
"Right.... Sorry." he spoke looking to the ground quickly loosing confidence in any undercover work.
"Look up." She ordered softly. "The reason you keep giving yourself away is because you react with fear to something that doesn't go according to script." She considered. "You have a good set of building blocks. Just none of the confidence to react when someone suspects you. Take everything naturally. Instead of ducking away you should of pretended to be looking over something. Your response at the restarunt was sound but you froze up before you answered."
He looked up and nodded. "Simmon, my lab partner tells me that often." rubbing the back of his head he sighed, "And I think that is half the reason I am sent on these missions. for confidence that is not just in the lab."
"Coulson is smart." She hummed. "Hand please."
Confused by the request he slowly extended his hand
She lightly drew a rune on his palm. "A blessing of quick thinking."
He looked surprised. "Thank you."
"You are very welcome darling and thank you for your help. Remember don't hesitated. Just react naturally."
He nodded putting his hand down. "Redwood is a good choice. It is smooth as well, less chance for splinters compared to oak." He took a step excuing himself in a manner
She nodded, smiling as she watched him go. "Lets get a sealant and head out."
Image nodded. "I saw one around the corner."
She followed him, awaiting coulson's text or call.
Deciding to change things up Coullson decided that it would be addressed at the dinner and let it slide for now.
"Here we go" Image said grabbing the sealant
"Lets go pay. I need to start dinner soon."
Image nodded and took a step to the side letting the two walk past him and Moon. "Let me pay." Image spoke going for his wallet.
She hesitates. "You sure?"
He nodded. "Of course." They walked up the the cashier and what they were walking out with they put on the counter. He explained to the person what else they were getting and that they wanted it deivered. "When do you want it to arive?" Image asked passing a card to the cashier to pay for the itams.
Image nodded and the woman knocked it down. "Tomorrow and ten in the morning is the only slot we have." image nodded giving permission to have everything delivered then. With it rung up image toom the card back slipping it in his wallet then his pocket.
He picked up the bag, still hilding moon and smiled. "We are all set."
"Lets go home then." She smiled
Image nodded. "Want me to drive." He spoke walking out to the car happily.
They walked to the car and put Rebekka-beth and the bag in the propper spot before takeing his seat.
"Thank you for coming with us Sentinel." Lies thanked him, headng to her seat.
"It was my honor." He spoke going to the back seat.
She smiled brightly at him
Image pulled out of the parking spot and started driving home.
"The big girl cup is hard again." Moon whispered, she had the cup in her hands and a mess on her shirt.
"It'll get easier." Lies passed back some wipes to sentinel.
The thunderer took them and started cleaning her up gently. "Really?" She asked
'Really really." She promised
She nodded and gave a small sigh. "Okay Daddy."
"Talking wasn't easy at first now was it."
"Still hard sometimes." She spoke. "Big words hard."
"I know baby but you are doing good and you'll do good with the cup."
She nodded slowly looking that the cup.
"But we will always be proud of you." Image spoke looking at her through the rear view mirror."
She smiled at them and dismissd the cuo for now handing it to sentinel. "When is the ....play set coming home?"
"Tomorrow and we'll get it set up then."
"Yes. You can give me directions." She smiled
"I thought I was going to be the one building this." Sentinel chuckled.
Lies grinned. "Now you have a foreman."
He chuckled, "You should not be doing things like this, with your leg and the babies are still nursing. Sit out, let me do this."
"I mean it." He spoke. "Recover before you push yourself."
"Thank you." Image spokein place of the thunderer
He put one hand on Lies's hand. "How is it holding up? Need to be massaged or anything? We were standing for a while."
"Its sore but bareable. I need to cook dinner when we get home so I'll take a hot bath after."
Image smiled "Tell me if you need anything yes?"
"thank you." He spoke as they pulled up to the house.
"You are welcome love." She smiled
Image smiled and went to get Rebekka-beth from the car seat.
Lies took her time getting up
Image went to her and offered his hand to help her up.
She stood slowly, wincing. "I may have some willow bark tea though."
"I can make that for you." he spoke looking concerned. "If you can make it up stairs I will rub it. Might help some too."
He nodded. "Head up and I will get you your tea." He spoke walking behind her before looking back to Sentinel who ushed them forward
She made her slow way up the stairs stopping once when her leg grew shakey
It was a few moments and image caught up to her on the stairs. Holding the tea in one hand he wrapped the other around her giving her support to finish up the stairs.
He nodded and kept helping her to the bedroom. Only letting go to put the tea down he went back and picked her up to the bed.
"Sorry. I didn't think it was that bad."
"Don't be sorry." he spoke putting her down. "I just want to make sure that you are alright."
She nodded a little and slowly moved her leg to ease up the tightness.
He sat on the edge of the bed and helped her move her leg. "Lets take your pants off, they might be to tight."
Image was focused and overly calm as he took of her shoes and pants off, then going back to helping her flex her leg.
"Lies?" He asked back making eye contact. "Tell me if I am hurting you?"
"I will...are you okay though?"
"Worried." He spoke and then answered honestly "Guilty as well, but More worried."
"What creator did was not your fault."
He was silent for a moment still slowly flexing her leg. "He was still my creator."
"Are my children to blame for my actions?" She asked softly
"No, I feel like I could have stopped it. I was right there."
"You did want I told you to."
"And normally I would be grateful for that. But I could have done something." Image continued to work on her leg doing his best to keep himself under control
"I should have protected you."
He paused moving her leg and leaned forward to gently kiss her. "I love you lies. And I am sorry I could not protect you, like you protect me."
"I never blamed you." She murmured against his lips.
"I blame me." He responded resting their foreheads together.
"Don't." She flipped them, gently pinning him under her and kissing him soundly
He held her close humming. "You leg." He murmered.
"Is better." She whispered. "Want you."
Image hummed. "Really? Its all better?" He held her close, yes he wanted her, always did, he just did not want to stress her leg more.
"Aye." She nuzzled working his pants open.
He arched up, quickly anticapating the touch.
She touched and stroked him. "My husband."
Image moaned whispering his name. "My wife."
Lies shifted and slowly sank down onto him
He moaned louder gently rubbing her hips
"Oh...I love you." She purred rocking slowly
"I love you too." he whispered rocking with her.
He kissed her neck and kept moving with her. "You are so perfect."
"You are better." he spoke keeping the movement going.
She laughs softly before moaning. "Fill me husband...fill me
It was not much longer before he came crying out her name as he did. Flipping them over he stayed pressed inside her. bug rently started rubbing her joint where her leg had been severed.
She purred softly wrapping her good leg around him as she rutted a little, feeling floaty between the massage and him still buried inside her
He gept going rubbing her leg and dipping down to kiss her neck, not moveing from inside her. "So perfect."
"Yours..." She sighed before gasping as she came.
he smiled feeling her clench around him. "As I am yours."
She nuzzled him before sighing. "I should get up."
"Can your leg take it? You still have your tea to drink."
"it can take it." She promised reaching for the tea to sip on it.
He pulled back and out next to her. "Are you sure?"
She nodded, finishing the cup
Image nodded "Put on looer pants? Or a skirt? Just incase it was the clothing that did not help your leg."
"Thank you." He spoke watching her.
She slowly got up and stretched
He stayed on the bed putting himself away and clothing himself again. "Are you sure you are alright?"
She nodded and changed into a sun dress. "Its better." She smiled." Thank you."
"I did not really do much." he spoke walking up to her.
He smiled and kissed her cheek "Do you need help with dinner?"
"I'll be fine. Spend some time with the kids." She smiled
"You need time with them too." He whispered.
"After dinner. I promise." She kissed him
He nodded. "They are all down stairs so let me help you down at least"
He put his arm around her and led her to the door. "And if you start hurting at all, let me know okay?"
"I will." She promised kissing his cheek
Image nodded and led them down stairs. "What if you got a cane? i know you can't use it at work but around the house. to take some strain off."
She nodded. "I would use it."
"Then we will look into getting one." he concluded stepping into the kitchen. "I would feel better knowing that the strain is being taken off of you."
"You've done a lot to help me."
"You are my spouse, the love of my life, I will do anything to help you."
She smiled softly and kissed him going to the kitchen
Image watched for a moment. "I will be in the nursary."
As Image left Narvi peeked around the corner.
Lies hummed as she workied before blinking and looking back. "Narvi?"
"I saw you on the stairs" she said simply.
She gestured over to help. "Too much time in the store."
"You were shaking." She said just as simply
"My leg still bothers me from time to time. Cut up the tomatoes?"
She took the spot and did as asked slicing the tomatoes. "That looked a little more than just bothering you."
"Too much wandering the ikea and Lowes." She answered and then sitting down before letting the muscles relax.
"Not right now." She promised her daughter.
"So it does hurt a lot of the time then?"
"Only when I've been particularly active."
She nodded finishing the tomatos. "Will you recover? fully I mean"
Clicking her tongue she nodded. 'I don't like seeing you hurt."
"I know sweetie." She kissed her cheek and moved to put the chicken in the oven.
"Can I ask an unrelated question?"
"I know....I know that Vail figured out what happened, He may not remember like i do but he knows and that is because of me. When you start adding rooms to the house. May I have my own? I don't want to hurt Vail any more than I already have."
"If that is your wish but ask Vali too." She murmured. "He may feel like you don't trust him to guard you if you move suddenly."
"I do trust him Father...." She started with a sigh. "But I have to guard him too. I am the little sister but we are equals."
"Just talk to him love." She pet her hair.
She nodded. "alright. I will."
She smiled. "I love you Narvi."
"I love you too Father. " She offered a smile back and hugged him gently being sure to not hit the bad leg. "Do you need any more help?"
"I should be alright." She ruffled her hair.
She playfully batted her hand away. "Are you sure?"
"Yes sweetie." She grinned.
"I am still going to stick around. Just in case."
"Okay." She smiled. "take out the cheese cake recipe and start with the filling?"
"Cheese cake huh? Why are you pulling out all the stops tonight?"
"Why not? Men with full tummies tend to be less observant."
She looked that him confused. "Hiding something from the brothers?”
She shook her head. "Coulson is coming over tonight."
"Oh" She spoke looking up from the paper. "Okay. Why?"
"Is there really a need? I mean.... we don't really do that much"
"I know darling but that's what's happening.
She sighed. "Very well then. What if I accidently put hot sauce in this?"
"The rest of us are eating the cake too."
"We will put a warning out to the rest of the family"
"Darn. It would have been amusing."
Loki rolled her eyes fondly
"You know it would have been."
She started pulling out what she needed for the filling. "So are you gooing to do anything to freak them out?"
"no. He's checking on me but I invited him."
She nodded, "Alright, I'll be good"
"Yes Father, I cant promise the boys but, I shall behave."
Narvi fell silent and worked on the filling.
"Add some chocolate liquor to that half a cup."
Nodding she fumbled for the bottle and measured it out. "Like that?"
She put it in and started mixing it together. "Where is Papa"
With the babies." She smiled.
"We are almost done. I can make the rest if you want to go too? I spent all day with them they need a better care taker than I"
She hesitates before nodding. "The hash brown casserole just need to be put together."
"Pull out the instructions and I will take care of it."
She nodded and took the recipe out for her.
She took it and looked it over. "I can do this"
She nodded. "Yes you can." She kissed her cheek before limping a little out of the kitchen.
Narvi watcher her limp out and to the nursery.
Image was on the floor The twins in front of him and Philip in his arms as Moon drew next to him
Lies watched them for a moment, smiling.
Moon looked up 'Daddy" She cheered getting everyone's attention
She chuckled and slowly came in settling into the rocking chair.
"How are you doing" Image asked as Adair slowly crawled over to her.
"Alright." She picked Adair up when he was close enough and snuggled him, purring
He made a pleased sound doing his best to cuddle her. "You had a bit of a limp."
"Stood too long. Narvi took over dinner."
"How long has this affected you like this? Since it happened?" He asked concerned.
"Please?" He asked "Just so I get an understanding"
She nodded. "Its been like this since it happened. The muscles are still trying to heal."
Image nodded. "Alright, there has to be something that we can do to help."
"Just keep working with it."
Image returned the kiss and Adair copied the sound
She chuckles. "My cutie pie." She gently rubbed his ears
The little one nearly purred at the affectionate touch.
She smiled softly. "My darlings.

Moon picked up her drawing and made a face. "We need to name the new puppy."
Image snorted, he knew of the warrior, "I like it."
"H-Hogun" She said then writing something on the paper. "Okay!"
Image smiled. "Aye A good name for him."
Moon smiled getting up and offering the paper to Lies. "Its us!"
"That's beautiful baby." She gently took it and framed it with a bit of magic. "I'm

"Oh yes." She kissed her forehead

Loki petted her ears too when she heard
