Scientist: “you can cause beta decay at will? Incredi—”

Me: “actually I just turned it upside down”

Scientist:“What”

Me:“Well protons are made of two up quarks and one down quark, while neutrons are made of two downs and one up. So I just. Flipped it upside down”

Scientist:“No. That’s. Not how it works. They aren’t literal directions that’s just their names”

Me, swapping protons and neutrons in an object by turning it upside down anyway: “fwooop”

Monday, 26 June, 2017.  Hot and sunny in Vancouver.

I wuz up early, but it was too hot in the studio to feel like working... just took it easy until early afternoon.  A bit of painting, some light exercises.  My Sinuses are much better but like to ‘keep on giving’.  I am much better, though.

I suffer with issues of depression, so being ill is not a help... why I try to keep busy... occupy my mind and try to  be useful to the planet.  I spend a lot of time thinking about Dark Matter and Electrons, these days.

Isn't it strange when you forget a word and just shrug it off and the next day you'll suddenly blurt it out even when it has nothing to do with what anyone is talking about? Someone was talking about money and I just screamed "PARTICLE PHYSICIST" and texted my friend.
