Tonya Williams, the highly regarded, award-winning founder of ReelWorld, was surrounded by appreciative fans of her initiative – the celebration of racial diversity in film and television.

Perfectly situated across from the film-centric TIFF Bell Lightbox, the Dazzling Modern Restaurant and Bar was the site – indoors and out – for this gracious reception.

The Indie Lounge program features twenty emerging artists (E20s) from local communities who are mentored by top-notch industry professionals. The ReelWorld Film Festival takes place next April.

The dress code called for Polka Dot attire and the room was awash in pin-dots, circles, bubbles and baubles.

Menaka Lyer sweetens the deal with a sniff & a smile for DOT! 

Jacobs was inspired by his love of Polka Dots and designed the bottle to express happiness. The cheerful design is adorned with round shaped butterflies of different sizes.

Roger Vivier Opens @ The Bata Shoe Museum

Vivier has been called the "Fragonard of the shoe" and his shoes "the Faberge of Footwear" by numbers of critics. This is a MUST SEE COLLECTION!

The First Exhibition in North America to feature exquisite footwear by Roger Vivier, master shoemaker - his shoes were the epitome of mid-century glamour and Vivier's early training in sculpture at Ecole des Beaux Arts   is evident in the sculptural heels and toes he designed for Dior. 

Vivier set out on his own in 1963 - Hippie chic or what? This was released in the '80's renowned as the Cuissarde boot, elaborate beading done by Francois Lesage with the Pyramide heel a perfection in pointed balance!

Vivier left France after World War II and arrived in the United States at the invitation of American shoemaker Herman Delman. Then he met sexy milliner Suzanne Remy - he went into making Hats! 

A well-stepped-out-in-Vivier-style guest flaunts her Viv-a-cious footwear in honour of the KING of HEELS!
