THE MOUSE COMES TO DINNER 1945, dir. William Hanna & Joseph Barbera
I find it a little sad that as Dungeons & Dragons has increased so much in the public consciousness over the last 5-10 years, more people haven't discovered the wonderful webcomic The Order of the Stick!
It is chock full of snarky references to the mechanics, the changes through editions, and the archetypes that have always been pervasive in the genre. It is crass and funny and tackles some of the gross sexism built into earlier editions. There is an evil (allegedly) character in the party. Paladins are absolute douchebags. The worldbuilding is slow and in depth. It has been running for like 13 or 15 years and is finally slowly closing in on the endgame.
The villains are recurring, the inside jokes are hilarious, and I think we should send some love to it by going to www.giantitp.com and reading OOTs!
More kitties!
MY YURI!!!!!
