The bell to release the school for the day rang and she was one of the first ones out of the room, walking down the hall towards her locker in her black combat boots and her flowing skirt decorated with little skulls, shirt ripped in a few locations, just enough to be deemed acceptable under school regulations. She was your average punk rocker, her style ebbing on a Gothic flair. Opening her locker, she took out the books she needed for homework and slammed the door shut, ready to just be out of there.
Alice left and walked towards her home, turning left at the corner from the school house. She flipped her hair over her shoulder, getting a cat call from someone in a car traveling the opposite way as her, making her roll her eyes in the typical teenage way. Little Alice, always too cool for anyone else. She smiled to herself and continued walking until a man stopped his car next to her and honked. "Hey, there miss," he smiled at her, his charm evident instantly. "Hey," she said, but kept walking, the fear already setting into her heart despite her cool exterior.
"Hey wait, I have a question for you," he said, getting out of his car and holding up his hands to show he meant no harm. "I'm heading over to a little get together at my mates house. Were wonderin' if you wanted to come with me?" He smiled again and Alice wanted to melt, a beautiful brunette talking to her, eyes as blue as the skies on a clear day. She drew in a deep breath and shrugged a shoulder. "Well I dunno. I've got to get home to my parents..." this was her first time ever being asked to a party by anyone, let alone a boy with a car. He could show her so many new things.
"I don't want to show up alone is all. I wouldn't wanna show up without the most beautiful girl around." He laughed lightly and stuck his hands in his back pockets. "I'm Rylin, by the way."
"Alice," she introduced herself.She smiled at him, her perfect white teeth glimmering in the soft afternoon light of the sun. She wanted nothing more than to go with this man Weighing the pros and cons of getting into that car, she couldn't ignore the escalating cons. She sighed but nodded her head.
"Where is this party at anyway?"
