9, 14, 20: (Shige, with or without Mocchi)?

9. Favorite character to write?Answered here but...I feel like I’d be lying if I didn’t give Tatsuya at least a shoutout haha, for sort of the opposite reason as Aomine--in a lot of ways Tatsuya’s like me, and it’s sort of like poking into my past or possible future or alternate present point of view, and it’s a good way for me to put myself into perspective? Getting my feelings out feels really good, even if they’re horribly negative haha. Which they do tend to be orz.

14. Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?I KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO ANSWERFujimaki, hire me. I can build a more balanced team than you can. And make the protagonists more likeable and the antagonists more hateable.

20. Go nuts, and talk about writing. Or write me a little ficlet-whatsit using a character/image/line I shall now specify:

He’s never seen Shige do kendo before. At least, he didn’t think he had--but he recognizes every movement, the thrust of his sword like a feint or a drive on the basketball court, lunging backward the way he steps out of the way before a bus nearly mows him down on the street corner (Mochida tries to pay enough attention for both of them, but he can’t always catch it in time) and the way he rushes in and taps his opponent’s shoulder with the end of his blade like the way he always finds the openings Mochida can’t quite conceal when he’s working on calculus homework or the student council budget and he looks up and all of a sudden the books are on the ground and Shige’s straddling his lap.

It looks better when he’s not wearing a mask, but Mochida’s not about to tell him that.

HimuMibu - The botched date that kinda turned out okay in the end AU.

This date hasn't gone well--the guy was late and then he'd turned out to be prettier than Reo and he'd been flirty with the waitress and Reo's honestly considering faking sick to get out of it. He coughs, tucking a lock of hair behind his ear.

"Are you alright?" the guy says, a convincing look of concern crossing his delicate features, and fuck--maybe Reo should stick it out.

NebuMibu - Worrying about each other AU.

He expects to come home to a sleeping household, but it's not what he gets--all the lights are on in the living room and Eikichi's sitting in front of the TV with a very-awake cat purring on his lap; Eikichi looks up and something half-familiar crosses his face that Reo can't quite name, but whatever it is it's mixed with pure exhaustion.

"You didn't have to wait up," Reo says, shrugging off his coat onto the armchair.

"Well," says Eikcihi, catching Reo's elbow in one firm hand, "I worry."

FukuShin - 10 years later domestic AU.

"I made you tea."

Hayato looks up from the mountain of work on his desk (in response to his motion, several papers slide from the top and float to the floor, but Hayato seems unconcerned) and takes the chipped mug printed with blue turtles, fingertips touching Juichi's for a second longer than they need to before curling around the warm porcelain; his toes curl too, around the bar at the bottom of the stool and he smiles.

Juichi smiles back--they're long-since-over promises not to work too hard and bothering each other too often when they take work home, but there will always be time and space for this kind of moment.

MidoKise - The first moment they noticed they were in love.

Shintarou's about to go to work when Ryouta finally rolls out of bed, still dressed in nothing but Shintarou's old t-shirt with a hole in the sleeve; he flops onto the couch next to Shintarou and yawns while the ending theme of the Oha-Asa theme plays from their low-fi tv speakers. Shintarou's dress shirt is smooth under Ryouta's arm as it slides across Shintarou's back, and Shintarou makes no comments about how unpresentable Ryouta is right now, bending his head to accept Ryouta's sloppy kiss, the remote in his hand pressing awkwardly between their thighs until Shintarou makes that dissatisfied clicking sound in the back of his throat, and he's half-frowning with his glasses askew when Ryouta draws back and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

"I love you," Ryouta murmurs before he can stop himself--Shintarou's cheeks flare like a fire alarm and he drops the remote, but before he picks it up he manages to choke out that he loves Ryouta, too.

HayaMiya - going to an amusement park or carnival.

Miyaji's lost count of the times his arm has been nearly pulled out of its socket today from the way Hayama's dragging him all over, to this ride and that rigged game (yes, he still plays when Hayama whines enough about winning him something) and that food stand even though Hayama's already had way too much goddamn sugar. Still, it's not so bad when they're just strolling around, even if Hayama's hand is gripping his hard enough to potentially fracture all the bones and his fingers are sticky from all that candy. But he's smiling, and Miyaji will not admit this out loud but it actually looks kind of cute on him right now.

"Handcuffed" (OgiMochi) - 11, 14, 2.

11. If I were to rewrite this fic, what would I change? I made a couple of grammatical mistakes that I'm too lazy to go back and change but if I was starting from scratch, then I feel like the reunion scene is kind of anticlimactic and rushed so I'd fill that out a bit more. Also maybe include Mocchi's first name since we know it now

14. If I were to write a sequel to this fic, what would it be about? Student council president Mocchi & kendo star Shige!

2. What’s my favorite part of the fic? The part when Mocchi makes up his mind to go find Shige. One of the few times I've had a character drive something like a plot!
