Caroline and Annie running to hug me in the school parking lot last time I came home. Feeling safe enough to fall asleep with someone for the first time. Being held when I’m crying. That feeling when you hear a song for the first time that worms its way into your heart. That feeling when you hear a song for the millionth time and it’s still just as important to you as the first time you heard it. Tyler Knott Gregson’s typewriter poems. Messy hair and genuine smiles. Insignificant memories that pop into your head randomly and make you smile.
Zenith: What makes you feel good about yourself?
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of new clothes, nothing is better than finding a LOT of cute clothes that look good on you. I just got back from a week on the beach, I am very tan and my hair is long and healthy and beautiful. Talking to my friends makes me feel amazing. I love when guys get flustered around you and you know it’s because of you, that’s a good feeling. Knowing that I’m going home in nineteen days.
