Why Create?
Why create? The answer takes many forms. Lineage’s Hilary Thomas choreographed “Ceiling in the Floor” (pictured above) to understand and mend a friendship broken by mental illness. In the piece, a narrator expresses Hilary’s view that dance is not only what she was born to do, but also her “best medicine.” What are your reasons for participating in the arts, as an observer and/or creator?
