You know how misogynistic men think women are only good for giving them emotional and sexual fulfillment—i.e. making men look and feel good?
That’s how Sakaki sounds like, except towards artists instead, which is a lot funnier than if he was actually talking about women.
Not to mention, he “take[s] good care of [his] tools”? I have definitely heard a line like this from a toxic seme in some trashy BL manga(s).
This whole show is honestly camp, and this was the funniest part of episode 2, next to Kirinoe and Mikuriya catfighting in the background.

I was a bit sad to find out Jun and Michitaka were cousins because they are voiced by Nacchan and Tosshi respectively, and I was hoping to see them as KaneHide reincarnated in a happier world.
Now that I’ve had some time to think about it, this isn’t so bad. Jun and Michitaka are family, and in another way, so were Kaneki and Hide. I just want to see them happy together, whatever form that takes.
This is apparently the translation of Daiking's character's introductory quote. Is it supposed to be a nod to his role in Nagatoro?
Starmyu took loads of inspiration from Utena and Penguindrum. Would Pascala, which shares the same creative team as Starmyu, also share the same inspirations? Or maybe it'll be inspired by YKA and Sarazanmai instead. That'd be so funny.
This is making me wish Ikuni could be involved in Pascala's production.
