Pray for the 45+ Christians souls who have died during terrorist bombings on Palm Sunday throughout Egypt. Pray for those who witnessed that bloodshed and have been scarred by such horror in what should have been a celebration of Christ’s Triumphant Entry. Pray for the entire country as they attempt to come to terms with the persecution of a vulnerable, religious minority. Pray for our enemies, for those who are being radicalised by ISIS, that they can find the True Light of Christ’s redemption and turn to a life of peace, love and repentance. Pray that this bloodshed ends, and pray that if it does not, that all persecuted Christians can bear it.
Because Christ was persecuted, suffered and died for all of us and we all need to cling to His life-giving goodness, to His salvific love, to His abundant Grace.
