As it gets towards Easter, you're unfortunately going to see people (Christians and non-Christians alike) making fun of people who only attend Church Services around Easter time. Please do not let these people put you off attending. Whether you're just wanting to explore what attending a Church is like, wanting to see what religious celebrations of Easter is like, whether you're someone that only comes to Church for Easter, or if you're just going along because someone you care about wants to go. I promise that you are welcome. I promise that although these voices can sometimes be loud and rude, they are absolutely just a vocal minority. The majority of people are thrilled to see new faces at Church. Priests want to welcome and connect with new people, even if only briefly. And if people do have an issue? That's entirely their problem
Churches would love to welcome you for Easter, and we absolutely invite you to join in our celebrations. A lot of Churches hold feasts, Easter stalls, some will have fun activities for families, and so on. You are absolutely more than welcome to join. You do not have to have a certain level of faith, or have a certain amount of Church attendance the rest of the year in order to be 'allowed' to come. You can come even if you only intend on visiting this once. If you are someone that has been considering attending Church for the first time, please try to come along! If you are someone that has been considering coming back to attending Church, please try to come along! Please just be aware that these Services can be very busy.

I don't know if anyone will understand this one 😭 Pascha is a word for Easter. And yes I know Easter was a week ago for the rest of you. The date Easter is celebrated on is calculated differently in the Orthodox Christian church so that's why. Today is Easter for me. I hope you find it amusing anyway though :)
