warrior beetles literally only want one thing and it’s to eat my finger
haven't seen Blade in like a month. thought he was deceased. he took this worm from me but now he's just blair witching it in the corner idk if he remembers how to eat it.... my guy.....
he eats the jelly. i put the mealworm in the bowl.
he bites the bowl. he bites the bowl 6 times.

HE'S ALIVE
I saw this little fellow in the parking lot at the Botanic Gardens. It was decently sized, about 2 inches long. It was pretty adorable, stopping every so often, then scurrying off when I would try to get a better picture of it.
It looks like it might be a ground beetle, specifically a member of Pasimachus. These beetles are flightless, and if you look at the abdomen you can see that it is fused where the wings would separate. A couple species also have blue or purple ridges.
(It took like 4 hours to narrow it down to a family. Beetles are not easy.)
