Superboy (1994) #92
We're about to have a DELIGHTFUL treat from Pasqual Ferry!! Absolutely IN LOVE with the little details. Clea's outfit and body tea? Impeccable. Stephen (and the Eye of Agamotto) reading Sherlock? The whimsical critter on Stephen's butt? A homage to Ditko? Bats??? PERFECTION
I believe this illustration will be featured in the next Swimsuit edition. I'll keep an eye to get it full HD. But overall I'm just so glad to see my family in their natural habitat, reunited and thriving and having fun. That's what the masses want, Marvel!!
Marvel swimsuit shenanigans for July! 🏖️☀️
Pasqual Ferry - Mortal Thor
Marvel Swimsuit Special: Brand New Beach Day #1 (Marvel, July 2026) pin-up by Pasqual Ferry
I was giving a quick re-read to Jed MacKay's Doctor Strange run (man I miss him) and I don't think we as a fandom have been appreciating Pasqual Ferry's creativity with Clea's outfits enough!
While I absolutely ADORE the base outfit made by Lee Garbett and I'm SO happy it became Clea's new official design throughout the Marvel Comics universe, I also love how much Ferry took the initial design and turned it into clothes clearly made of magic, ever changing with her mood or comfort, almost as restless as she is, often surrounded by slivers of shadows and floating capes. If it happened once or twice I would call it a continuity mistake, but Ferry turns it into a deliberate choice which makes his Clea unique and always interesting to look at.
We have a few cozy outfits to relax at home (including super comfy black lingerie of course):
Very elegant outfits 💅🏻👑:
The Garbett's outfit with the black gown can turn into practical and useful trousers if needed, with different capes/scarfs and leggings, a few times she also gets pink gloves:
One thing is sure though: the circle pattern is a must! (Btw I am OBSESSED with how the black shadows look and swirl around her, by the hoary hoasts they look SO COOL)
