     Shigaraki finished up paper work, the last for the day. God why did there have to be so much paper work being the Grand Commander? He thought it’d be like with the League but no, he had a lot of work and Re-destro convinced him he had to do it.... Needless to say-- it sucked. It cut into his relaxing time. 

     The moment he finished he scurried out of his office as fast as he could and sped to the ground floor to get some fresh air. Despite the city being his technically, he never spent much time in it. He took a train and headed off into the next city over to get away from everything.

    He wore his normal clothes, a black jacket and a black shit and pants. He stood on the train waiting for a vacant seat. So far it was filled. The train stopped and a few people got off, and that’s when the villain spotted a seat. He quickly went over to it and took the spot, glancing over at the person next to him.

      “Trains are busy today, huh?”

        TOSS   ,   TURN   ,   TOSS   AGAIN   -------   IT   WAS   OF   MOOT   POINT   .   FOR   SOME   REASON  ,   SLEEP    evaded shouto , and he found himself padding to the kitchen in hopes that some tea would soothe the demons that chased his exhaustion away. shattering yawn stifled between PRESSED fingers, he rubbed sleep his his gaze and then halted, taking note that he shared the kitchen with another insomniac. they had spoken much before, his dedication to his studies making it difficult for him to connect with the others, but he knew of her. 

             guilt made itself a home in the hallow of his chest as he went to her side   (          she was likely to have a NASTY bruise after that fall   ),   right palm instinctively turning to ICE as he knelt, tugging a cloth from the table above.  ❛  I didn’t mean to startle you. are you alright? here, put this against your head.  ❜ he gestured to the ice block etched across palm, wrapping the block of ice within it. it was something he wouldn’t have done for someone else just six months ago, but kindness was among one of the things he had acquired during his time at ua. it was his friends, midoriya and iida primarily, who had soothed the raging fire and kindled the flames of compassion.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s not ideal to allow it to become infected in the meantime.” Slender fingers smoothed the edges of the bandage, only removing themselves once Todoroki was satisfied. 

Even now, it was easy enough to recall the months he had spent wearing gauze over the entire left portion of his face while it healed as well as could be anticipated; if nothing else, no contamination had occurred.

Rocking back on his heels, he watched as Kaya pulled on her jacket, a movement which sufficed his own uncertainty as to the amount of pain experienced as a result of her injury.

Finally, he rose to his feet. “What does it feel like?” The inquiry fell past Todoroki’s lips before he could think better of it. “When your injuries are healing, I mean.”

It was a thought which had never transpired before, yet he now felt ignorant for failing to consider it. “Your skin is knitting itself back together at such a rapid pace, it might have some sort of sensation.”

        There is a 89% chance that if it’s raining, Kirishima’s probably going to sneak outside and go catching frogs. It was more of what he used to do back in Chiba than he does it now, but it’s a pasttime he adores.

✘ —     Everything was different now that Rin was a full Demon. Treated more harshly than before, cast out by his friends and schoolmates, having to stay in the dorm most days to receive course work from Yukio. He didn’t like it, but there wasn’t anything he could do.

✘ —     Going haywire for a Demon would mean getting locked up again, or worse -- killed. And he knew no one actually wanted him dead...save for his enemies.

✘ —     Muddling around in his room, Kuro was curled up next to his bare feet; he didn’t wear shoes anymore because his nails grew ridiculously. Rin always had to keep his nails clipped. Yawning, he scratched his head and leaned back in his chair.

✘ —     Pretty soon, he felt a rush of energy as someone came into the dorms. He could tell it wasn’t anyone he knew because he didn’t recognize the aura they gave off -- it wasn’t quite human.

✘ —     He knew Yukio had set up a Demon warding barrier on the dorms so how could something have gotten in? Getting up, he grabbed Kuro and his sword, heading into the hall.

          “Hey, what’s that for?” The teen muttered, rubbing his ear where it had been tugged. “If you’re not scared, you’re way different from all the other girls at this school. Most of the time they won’t even come near me.”
