Four trainee pilots of the 30th Dornier Operational Flying Training Course, including a woman pilot, graduated as 'Fully Operational MR Pilots' at a #PassingOutCeremony held at INS Garuda on 11 February 2022. Commodore Vishal Roy, Commodore (Aviation) was the chief guest for the event and presented awards to the trainee pilots. The course comprised ground training phase, conducted at various professional schools, and flying training at INAS 550. Lieutenant Kashish Vohra was adjudged ‘Best Overall’ and ‘First in Ground' subjects, and Sub Lieutenant Sumnesh Bharti was adjudged ‘First in Flying’. The #FOCINC South rolling trophy in memory of late Lieutenant Simon George Pynomootil for the Most Spirited Trainee' of Dornier Operational Flying Course was awarded to Sub Lieutenant Manoj Kumar.
