John Keats, an English poet of the Romantic era, had a deep love with his once neighbor and eventual fiancee. Fanny Brawne. Sadly, their marriage was not to be and he died of Tuberculosis at the age of 25, before they could marry. Fanny later married and bore three children, but their love letters, with their tenderness and deep devotion, came out eventually and were first published in 1878.
