This blog seeks to amplify Love through written word. Some say the art of writing love letters is lost. Perhaps....but words of love, written, are never lost. Through these words, we hope you are reminded just how much love there actually is, has been, will be. Whether it's words sent on an electronic device across town or scribbled by hand 2000 years ago on a faded piece of parchment - love, affection, and friendship committed into words have a power that can reach across time and space. Sharing these words is just this blog's way of cutting through the loud thrashing of conflict in the world.... with a whispered "I love you." In a moment of stillness, you can hear the palpitating heart of love beat loudly. Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin, best known by her pen name George Sand, was a French novelist and memoirist. One of the most popular writers in Europe in her lifetime, arguably more renowned than both Victor Hugo and Honoré de Balzac in England in the 1830s and 1840s. Sand is recognized as one of the most notable writers of the European Romantic era.

And, if you haven’t seen the 1991 movie about her affair with composer Chopin, Impromptu, it’s a lovely little movie - check it out.
