As I was preparing for the start of 2020, I spent a lot of time thinking about the kind of content I wanted to create online this year 🤔⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you scroll my Instagram feed or any of my social media pages, it’s not hard to figure out that I’m a performer 🎭 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ However, with that, I realized I always hold off on sharing artistic content because I want to ensure it’s “perfect”. The truth is - no journey is perfect and I think it’s more important to document my journey, so that I can look back at my growth 🌱⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ One of my biggest dreams at the moments is earning an opportunity to take a Broadway stage 🙏🏽 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This year, I’m putting a laser focus on this goal by putting myself out there as much as possible while also continuing to train and improve my skills.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Last Monday, I took my first class with @actortherapynyc and I sang a cut of “I Got Four Kids” from Caroline or Change (a musical that’s coming back to Broadway pretty soon 🌟). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Nonetheless, here’s a clip of the cut that I sang in class which I really enjoyed singing. It’s a work in progress, however, I’m not sharing because it’s perfect. I’m sharing it because I had fun singing it.
