Be it a team of 2 or a building of 200 researchers, there is always the need to work with and around others in the lab and find a way to balance space, resources, and work between you all. A…

a lot of people when they write for mute characters/ocs/self-inserts, assume that mute people can make NO sounds, but... sounds still happen? for example, "laughing silently" or "im lucky im mute b/c i can cry and no-one will hear me". when using your breath, it has nothing to do with vocal sounds. laughing when mute would just be a bunch of loud inhales and exhales. if you were to exhale loudly, you wouldnt be using your vocal cords. if you want to know what sounds include your vocal cords, put your hand up to your adams apple/column of your throat and make the sound, if you feel vibrations then it wouldnt work (though you cant do this method with whispering); but lipsync the same thing with the same amount of enthusiasm you put into your first try, then you you can hear any breathing/breathy-ness, gasps or even clicks.
If my dad's mad at me in summer he goes outside to our strawberry plant and picks a bunch and then comes back inside like "I got you strawberries! Oh wait, aren't you allergic to strawberries? Guess I've got to eat them all now :)" and then he does
and yet he still wonders how I ended up so passive aggressive
There’s no bad mood that can’t be made worse by a five-minute conversation with your mother.
