There’s always someone paying attention. Almost every venue is fitted with security cameras, and at public events there are specialist teams recording everything – not to mention that literally anyone has a smartphone to hand.
When it comes to a fan-focused event, I imagine everyone is aware that they’re being watched. Weren’t you aware? Then you were lacking in assistance.
Being caught in a moment of annoyance, dissatisfaction, immaturity or resistance to instructions can be embarrassing. It’s even worse when there’s a display of displeasure.
It’s no coincidence that we’ve noticed care is taken to always have someone by MW’s side at all events – in New York, Norouzi himself took on that role.
Excessive physical reactions can negatively impact a professional’s image, as emotional intelligence and self-control are highly valued qualities.
At this point, the ‘boss’ has opted to implement micromanagement and passive-aggressive communication as methods of supervision. Unpleasant, but this is how it is.
For future presentations, it is best to avoid any technical justifications that might invite criticism.
