My days have consisted of listening to only instrumental music and replaying the office until I find myself tired. While being away from doing the things I used to, having to resort to finding comfort in my hobbies at home, I’ve learned to fall in love with the little things. The weather has been on and off here and I find myself loving when it grows windy. Have you ever listened to your favorite song while being able to hear the wind go through the trees in the background? It’s the perfect way to explain how I’ve felt lately. Peaceful.

I’ve learned to stop thinking about the what-if’s and focusing on what’s in front of me. Focusing on what I can do and truly want to do. I’ve started experimenting with my hobbies and learned to fall in love with new things. I learned to love doing simple things like making my coffee to the sound of my favorite song, layering paper just right in a spread or watching watercolor flow onto paper and in between ink lines just right. Enjoy the simple things, bask in it, when you have the chance.🤍
