I can't even begin to explain how much I adore Australia, and how blessed I am to live here.. I always assumed travelling would make me want to move; I expected the "rest of the world" was brighter than Australia, more peaceful, cleaner, kinder etc.. I think that a lot of people assume this.. We relate travel to "freedom", "beauty" and endless possibilities. And sometimes this is true. There are places that will take your breathe away, some full of magic and culture and tradition.. But there are also some that are less than your expectations.. They surprise you, overwhelm you, and tear you from your comfort zone.. BUT There is beauty EVERYWHERE I have found.. And in all different sorts, shapes, sizes and places! And both these places are equally important.. For a traveller SHOULD journey as far within themselves as they do geographically.. It's not all about seeing beautiful places and doing fun things; it's about experience, growth, understanding and development. It's about opening your mind and throwing yourself as opportunities (especially the ones that bring you discomfort). For now, it's good to be home. Appreciating my own home and country.. Everytime I return I seem to appreciate it a little bit more! But i'm excited to take off again tomorrow, and head to New Zealand for a taste of their culture, climate, experiences and life! Cannot wait! #passportattheready
