The ghost light at the Vivan Beaumont a theater... Ghost lights were left so that the theater's ghost might perform on a lit stage while the theater was dark... OR the use of ghost lights predates the invention of electricity, when theaters were lit with coal gas lamps powered by coal gas generators.
