Are there any non-YouTuber friends that ever make an appearance?
Kiku: Oh, there are quite a few, actually. My sister Mei is an editor for a lot of my vidoes, as well as my brothers’. She shows up in the background on occasion, but she doesn’t really want to be in front of the camera. Yong Soo and Leon have taken to referring to her as the “Phantom Memelord”, since she adds in quite a few jokes in editing. Like, she overlayed one of Yao’s rants about Panda Express with an instrumental of “I’ll Make A Man Out Of You” from Mulan. And it was amazing.
Feliciano: Ludwig shows up sometimes in mine and Gil’s videos sometimes. He’s kinda camera shy, but sometimes he’ll just tell his brother to be quiet or accidentally get caught in frame. A lot of the fans seem to really like him, though! They keep asking me and Gilbert about him, and I think he helps Kiku film his sometimes, so he gets asked about him a lot too.
Toris: *small groan* Feliks. He’ll just burst into my room when he knows I’m filming and steal the show and make the thing all about him. It’s the most annoying thing, and I keep telling him to get his own damn channel, but he just won’t. He gets in Natasha and Katyusha’s videos too, and Elizaveta’s… God, I think he actually wants to make videos but’s just afraid of messing up if he puts his name on the thing. Either that or he just wants to bother us all.
