Some fun patb headcanons?
Forgot to answer this one when I first got it but!!! Yes I do uwu 👇👇 the list will keep expanding though lol so have these for now.
(mostly Pinky and Brain, but some Roman, Dark Pinky and Future Brain too!)
PATB Headcanons:
Brain has sensitive ears (I think he’s a bit more sensitive in general due to being injected and exposed to chemicals/stuff that affected his body at a very young age.) While his ears are more sensitive and prone to be more painful than most mice, he really enjoy having them massaged and scratched lightly.
Pinky has better sense of hearing and smell than Brain
Pinky likes coffee but Brain only lets him have it in small doses due to his hyperactivity
Pinky has a high (physical) pain tolerance
Pinky falls asleep first and wakes up first
Brain is not a morning person
Brain is easily addicted
Pinky’s tail wags when he’s happy/excited while Brain’s tail twitches when he’s happy/excited.
Speaking of tails, Brain can move the very base of his tail without any discomfort but the zig-zagged part can be uncomfortable to move.
Pinky enjoys heavier and faster music genres
Brain struggles with intrusive thoughts, often violent and anger related
Pinky bites or twists his tail when he’s nervous or needs to fidget (Brain does not approve of the biting)
Brain’s favorite colors are red and royal purple (and Pinky’s eyes- I mean blue)
When Pinky hyperfocuses on something, Brain makes it his duty to make sure that Pinky doesn’t forget to eat or go to the bathroom.
Pinky is very good at reading Brain’s body language, sometimes Brain doesn’t even notice things himself
Both enjoy drinking
Pinky has an oral fixation and needs to bite or chew on things at times to stimulate himself.
Brain has subconsciously memorized the scientists footsteps and walking patterns (he knows which one is arriving by listening to the sound)
Pinky has separation anxiety, especially if he doesn’t know where Brain has gone to or when he’ll be back. (Pinky has to distract himself, make up imaginary friends or talk to objects to keep himself from stressing out while alone).
Just like Pinky, Brain also enjoys crossdressing/dressing more femininely or androgynous. The only difference is that Brain is more aware of society’s view and intolerance towards it, which can put him at unease when he does so, especially in public. In private however? Not an issue.
As a child, Pinky had trouble eating and talked with a more prominent lisp than he does as an adult because he hadn’t grown into his big buck teeth yet.
Brain has a sweet tooth that he’s mildly ashamed of
Pinky sometimes experiences auditory and visual hallucinations due to the scientists kinda frying his brain
Roman was the one who helped Pinky set up his YouTube and Chatstagram accounts.
Pinky would be the one to carry literally every necessity ever in his purse/bag and Brain is always stunned whenever Pinky pulls out literally everything out of it
Brain files his incisors down because he thinks they look dumb
Pinky will sometimes kick in his sleep, poor Brain.
Pinky being so stimulation seeking comes from his childhood where he didn’t get enough enrichment and space to activate himself in his cage inside the pet store, resulting in his being more fidgety and such.
On the topic of fidgety, Pinky had a hard time learning how to write due to his shaky paws but Brain taught him and since they’re always up and doing something now, Pinky is less static and fidgety. (He was overjoyed when he got the wheel inside their cage).
Dark Pinky has a bad habit of getting into battles and purposely letting his enemy land hits on him just to feel pain. If it’s his subconscious thinking he deserves it, his masochism flaring up or his past self trying to stop his violent behavior… is not clear. He also thinks they make him look more dangerous and that they’re pretty.
Dark Pinky prefers close-range combat (melee weapons and hands-on fighting) while Future Brain is more long-range (guns, arrows, etc).
Dark Pinky’s fighting style tend to look like dancing or gymnastics of some sort. It’s very elegant until it’s not, then it becomes aggressive and dangerous.
Pinky engages in fandom culture and makes fanart and writes fanfics of his own.
Pinky owns a diary
Brain secretly owns a diary
Pinky’s favorite skirt/dress length is knee length.
Roman is into true crime podcasts and whenever he visits his parents and decides to listen to said podcasts, they just look at him with concern.
Established Brinky Headcanons:
They’re codependent as fuck
Pinky is usually big spoon but Brain is as well sometimes.
Brain has made it a habit to pull Pinky with him by his waist rather than grabbing his arm or ears.
They enjoy listening to each other’s heartbeats when they cuddle.
Pinky likes to playfully flirt with Brain using his tail. He also loves to wrap his tail around Brain’s body/waist.
Brain always makes sure that Pinky has new markers, drawing paper, erasers, sewing needles, magazines, etc.
Both absolutely love to kiss each other, it’s almost ridiculous. (Brain loves kissing Pinky so much that he gets too into it and forgets time and whatever he was doing before they started kissing/making out) (Pinky just feels like he’s floating on soft clouds and they’re all Brain-shaped).
Brain has gifted Pinky a whole wheel of cheese once (perhaps on their anniversary or something)
Pinky cherishes every moment Brain has the courage to be affectionate because he knows it’s difficult for him.
Brain really likes running his fingers through Pinky’s hair and fur.
When Brain is relaxed and comfortable enough, he can be very affectionate and romantic. It also helps that Pinky gets visibly flustered and usually very giggly when Brain is affectionate/touchy and that makes him more confident since he likes having the upper hand
Both mice can be very jealous if their partner is getting unwanted romantic/physical attention from someone else. Usually it’s Brain having to deal with being jealous because of Pinky getting unwanted attention from someone else. Brain, while usually stiff and not too hype on PDA, when jealous he can get a bit more handsy and makes sure to keep Pinky by his side, away from whoever is disturbing them.
Pinky likes making nests for him and Brain.
Pinky LOVES when Brain actually says “I love you” out loud to him so at times Pinky will pretend not to have heard him just to make Brain repeat himself over and over again until Brain gets too flustered. “okay enough! >///>”
Brain tends to tear up when he’s feeling overwhelmed by positive emotions and when he and Pinky first got official, he had to stop himself from crying whenever Pinky was affectionate.
Pinky is the type of partner who puts his cold hands on Brain just to go “omg look how cold I am NARF!” and Brain is like “Yes, Pinky! I get it, you don’t need to do that every single time! >:(“
Brain will say cheesy sentences to Pinky that he’s read from different books because he wants to impress and fluster Pinky (Pinky rarely understands what he’s talking about but he can tell that Brain is trying his best to be romantic so it works very well on him despite it).
