The Stakes of the Balance
An original graphic novella based on the evolutionary history of the Variola Virus, the virus that caused smallpox, reimagining it/ her as a fictional character.
It originally began as my final project for a university picture book course—and somehow turned into something closer to a graphic novel.
Anyways I had fun with it, and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome, especially considering I only had about 20 days to work on it.
