Patio Vera: A glance from the Past

I've been in a writing hiatus for over a month already and like before, I definitely did not want that to happen. Let's just say that there are a few hindrances which inflicted my writing hibernation:

Time and my indolence. And;

My overly busy friend who can't find the time to upload our photos in our restaurant visits.

And yes, you might have guessed by now that that overly busy friend I'm referring to has already uploaded our photos today! Hooraah! You see, my friend is really the one to blame for this writing hiatus. Haha. Glad the waiting is over now anyway, so, may I present to you our latest or old foodie find :)

The exquisite Patio Vera.  I know this is not the most original comment that you will read about this place but let me tell you anyway that this is probably the most romantic and intimate place I have visited thus far. The place is adorned with rare old pieces strategically placed in every corner of the restaurant pulling off the ambiance of one superb beauty and elegance placed in one. We have visited the place at night which make the place more stunning.

Fyi, I'm a sucker of dim lights. <3

After roaming around the restaurant, we were finally given a place to dine. We immediately requested for the menu after settling down and ordered Seafood Pasta which is already good for two, and their signature spongecake. I beg your pardon but I already forgot their menu names. Huhu.

Delightful seafood pasta.

The first and only seafood pasta I have ever tasted which has been my benchmark of one delicious seafood pasta ever since. Until now I'm having a seafood pasta longing because of this dish. It's just so yummy! 

Fine spongecake dessert.

For dessert, we ordered PV's signature triple milk-layered spongecake. I love how this spongecake was made just right: not too sweet and not too bland plus it melts in your tongue! I think it lives up to its name as one of PV's signature bestsellers.

The plates has been cleaned and we decided we need to go, so we asked for our bill and we felt excited to see that it comes with this:

I so love Patio Vera! The food is great and the ambiance is so enchanting! I think I will never run out of good things to say about Patio Vera and I'm looking forward to visit this paradise again.
