Describe your character's dreams and aspirations.
Currently, he’s got what he wants. A good job, a life worthy of fighting for and a gal that he loves very much. Further down the road, he might get bored with his job and go back to school for a degree that’s a bit more in depth, but for now, he’s happy.
How does your character deal with grief?
She doesn’t. She locks it away and gets on with life like it never happened.
Does your character like to suffer? Like to see other people suffer?
Depends on the type of suffering. He’s a born fighting, typically he likes to be the one throwing the punches and winning the fights but there are times when the hits he takes are deserved and he allows them to come.
What they wanted to be when they grew up.
This is a very good question. Honestly, something simple and wholesome, considering the era he grew up in. A phone operator was a logical and decent dream for a kid in the 30s and 40s. It paid well and would have allowed him to get away from the orphanage. Life has changed a little since then and while he is happy as the owner of candlelight books, it still isn’t his dream. He is restless and unsure of what he wants, really.
