𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐘 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 ; the expectation of repetition, the belief of knowing the outcome, the IGNORANCE. So many nights spent out on the balcony, missing the semblance of flickering stars ―― even the nights with clear skies, far away from the light pollution of the city, always wondering what LINGERED out there. Dark strands of hair obfuscate her sight in the harsh breeze that comes from the sea, but even with squinting eyes, she can see the greyish billowy movements that TOWER above the city ; shadows with one large, mechanical eye. She knows Patty wants to go back, knows that Danny is still somewhere out there ――― but the military hardly PERSISTS against the invasion of robotic creatures that set aflame citizens, one by one. If the GUNS do nothing, what is love supposed to do ? “ We’ll find him, we’ll find Dan ―― I swear to God, Patty, I’ll bring him back to you but we need to go aboard the ship ! ”
