I bought this book to show my Sunday school class. But, I cannot. It depicts children who wear glasses, as outcasts. My son wears glasses, and I cannot enter into his head any earlier than he might get a dose of reality that kids who wear glasses might be different. As of now he is incredibly confident. This book would have been infinitely better, if simply the glasses had been left off of the boy.

During warm up sketching this morning this fellow happened. He looked so familiar... it's my son.... probably because it's his birthday this week. Happy Birthday, sweet son!!!
