Rewatching The Long Walk currently and man am I obsessed with the characters' interactions and what happens in the background.

Like, for example, the hill when they realise they have to walk up, I love how each of the characters react to it! My fav is Collie and how you can see that he too gets so scared and nervous, he literally runs past Ray as Barkovitch insults Ray and he keeps looking back or around himself. Plus the way Art supports Olson and encourages him is dear to me, not to mention Harkness who walks on his broken ankle for MILES. (I also love how you can hear Collie chime in with each conversation or when they try to encourage Curly, how he acts so shocked when Rank dies, and how he barks at Barko when Barko challenged him(or atleast I think it's him who yells at Barko)).

Stebbins, I love that man, everytime I see him in the background I wanna see how he interacts with people or just his reactions in general. His little smirk when Ray tells him to shut up after the death of 45. Also, you can see him retreat/slow down after Ray tells him to arrest him, he literally glances at Ray and Pete before slowing down.

Speaking of, the Musketeers and their bond, man I love them all, just joking around before things go to crap and trying to keep themselves amused. Their reactions to the other Walkers' deaths and their personalities in general. (i see a lot of posts about Pete being the more aggressive when Ray crashes out more than him, and Art too). Also, Hank's snarki ess and sassy remarks is so funny to me. Every character is dear to me, even Rank and Curly, god, I would've hugged them so tightly and just comfort them. Heck, comfort all of them, cook for them etc.

My favs tho are definitely the Musketeers, Collie(who imo is an honorary Musketeer with the amount of times we see him laugh at their jokes or just join in whenever, even joining in on the Fuck the Walk chant), Stebbins, Harkness(my poor baby) , Rank and Curly.
