Playing Soul, House, Classic Disco, Boogie. Ross Allen knows all the tunes, and then he talks some to others that know. Dancefloor classics from the man and guests…
Wicked chat between two dons of the London club scene and beyond Ross Allen and Patrick Forge.
Tropical rhythms, devotional boogie and soulful shenanigans with a heavy jazz undertone, Patrick Forge gathers it all up for your listening pleasure.

Gilles Peterson & Patrick Forge // Radio 1 // 2000
I headed down to Camden this weekend for Another Sunday Afternoon at Dingwalls with Gilles Peterson and Patrick Forge. Floating Points was their special guest and he seemed right at home; Gilles and Patrick gazing indulgently at him like proud parents as he drew for their favourite obscure jazz records.
The incredibly talented Kaidi Tatham also performed with his all-star band, which included Vanessa Freeman, Bembe Segue and Finn Peters. I have a new-found respect for the man who's an absolute master on the keys.
These parties are the stuff of legend and I'm glad I finally got to experience one for myself. The crowd was lovely, the dancing was off the chain and the music impeccable. It's not every day you hear a jazz record get a rewind.
We fittingly ended here:
I totally didn't know until today...
