Once he decided he was done with tormenting his latest mortal enemy, Patrick made a few visits in his sleep. His last stop for the night was the dream hangout he’d postponed for months. When he arrived, he was sitting on the banks of a huge river, spotted with little floating lights. Eli was standing in the water. “Yo,” Patrick called over, stretching his legs in front of him. “Sorry I’m late.” He grinned. “Do you know you’re asleep? I want you lucid.”
