Happy Birthday Patrick Codenys! . . Front 242 - No Comment Released: 1984 Label: Red Rhino Europe (1985) . . Front 242 was founded in 1981 by Dirk Bergen und "Prothese" (Daniel B.). A short time later "Under Viewer" (Jean-Luc De Meyer and Patrick Codenys) joined. The debut album "Geography" was released in 1982 and Dirk Bergen left the band and took care of the bands management from then on. In 1983 Richard 23 joined them as drummer and second vocalist and the band was complete. In 1984 the second album "No Comment" was released. On the inner sleeve you can find the words: "Electronic Body Music Composed On Eight Tracks By Front 242". For many fans of the Electronic Body Music, Front 242 was therefore long considered the inventor of the EBM and the term. But that's not entirely correct, because Gabi Delgado (DAF) spoke e.g. as early as 1981 about "Körpermusik" (body music) as the name for the music of DAF. But already in 1978 Ralf Hütter (Kraftwerk) described the music of the Kraftwerk album "Mensch-Maschine" as "Electronic Body Music" in an interview. . . #patrickcodenys @front242official #front242 #nocomment #redrhinorecords #underviewer #maleorfemale #33rpm #lp #vinyl #vinylcollection #vinylcollector #vinylcollectionpost #vinyladdict #nowspinning #onmyturntable #ontheturntable #vinylcommunity #vinylcommunitypost #vinyllove #vinylclub #instavinyl #vinylporn #vinylcollecting #vinyloftheday #vinylfetish #musicblogger #igvinylclub #ebm #electronicbodymusik #industrial (hier: Zu Hause) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHpH1a4Hfkc/?igshid=15w2gh0ktkj43
