                    & obviously, the current encounter led to no suspicion                   by her part, yet little did she know that all was suspended                     on a single thread of failure. all events pertaining to a                   certain MISSING PERSON'S CASE had been the remedial                     regime of secrecy, all motions & concurrences thought                        through with utmost precision to ensure an ultimate                        goal of                                                  information.

                          & honestly, to say there hadn't been a fleeting response                            of remorse would prove to be a fallacy. had it been the                            first time at work beyond common knowledge, maybe                             contrition would not have manifested through already                             nebulous thought. this endeavor hadn't been about a                                     random being, no. the being was HISTORY.
