Just thought, in light of the passing of the great Fred Cole, I would post these excellent pix from great guy/pal/photographer Jay Brown - @jfotoman-blog
Jay was a constant, grinning presence around the burgeoning Columbus, Ohio scene in the 1990s, shooting the shit and the bands. He’s one of those born shutterbugs who you barely notice he’s got a big camera hanging around his neck until you see the amazing shots weeks later.
He later moved to Pittsburgh, and basically along the way became THE visual chronicler of rust belt dive bar rock circa the end of the century. Check out his blog, and play some Dead Moon records while you’re at it.
