Sometimes it just works, and sometimes it doesn't!
Continuing my dive down the rabbit hole of computer assisted pattern generation, I have spent most of the afternoon trying to get my program to add in a mask when it has generated a random pattern.
I am not a programmer by training and null pointer exceptions confuse the hell out of me, ordinarily the debug program tells you more or less the line where the error is, and often what you need to do. However in my case the precision of the error reporting was much less and although I have managed to get it to do what I wanted I have no idea what I have, by brute force, repaired.
I have not tried projecting the generated images yet but the mask was made in the projection mapping software and the image saved to use in the pattern generator software.
So there we have tomorrow's head banging schedule already set up.
