This was the start of making my pattern pieces of my dress,putting each pattern together and cutting them out once they were all done.

Ok sew-blr, please help this newb out. I've been following the cutting out layout the pattern gave me but wanted to make sure I deffo had enough for the rest of my pieces. It's meant to be cut on a single thickness of fabric to fit all the pieces, but I've fitted it all on the folded thickness.

(Obviously nothing is pinned because this is what I'll be doing tomorrow night.)

I should just go ahead and cut them out on the fold/double thickness, yes? If it fits it sits sorta deal? (If you can't tell, this is me (newbie) wanting validation before doing something that would seem obvious to someone with experience.)

In other news, I really should've spent the money on decent scissors.

92. So now I have 4 sleeves and 8 body pieces that need sewing together at the shoulder. I’m going to try dyeing all pieces and then decide which pieces I want on the outside. The ones I don’t use will be on the inside.
