Roman and Patton are the bestest of friends!!!
They used to play with Roman’s dragon, Comet, a lot as kids and Patton loves her.
Patton is scared of Roman’s younger sister, Linda.
Patton knows a lot of what he knows about magic from Roman but he does try to teach Roman white magic.
Roman prefers more show and combat magic which doesn’t go along with white magic perfectly so he doesn’t practice it to master it but he does enjoy learning it.
Patton gets jealous of Roman’s wand sometimes.
Patton’s gap comes from one time when they were practicing spells and one was an object disappearing spell (traps any non living object in a lost void). Roman meant to aim it at a cracker but pointed the wand upwards when it wasn’t working and it hit Patton’s tooth.
They always give each other elaborate gifts for witch holidays and whatnot.
Roman learned an object summoning spell as a kid just to help Patton find his glasses, which he would lose all the time.
Patton knows Roman acts like a douche a lot to people like humans and evil witches, but he stays friends with him because he knows he means well and deep down Roman is dealing with a lot of internal conflict that isn’t his fault. He basically knows Roman is more than the jerk he acts like sometimes.
