The Musicians in a Park, oil on canvas (ca. 1905) Paul Berthon (1872–1909) created this work as his only known oil painting. Produced late in his career after his success as an Art Nouveau printmaker.

Two women in elaborate robes perform on stylized instruments, including a harp adorned with a gryphon head, within a dense garden of white hydrangeas. The composition reflects the influence of Italian Renaissance masters such as Botticelli. Loc. Private Collection. Dim. 100 cm H x 81 cm W (39 3/8 x 31 7/8 in.).
