The Prince (of Swords) is a form of The Charioteer, he sits aside a double pyramid, the geometric shape indicating analytical perception and the symbol for the rational half of the mind, like the Charioteer he has no reins, he is not guiding the winged figures that pull his vehicle, submitting himself entirely to their will of chance.

"Our world actually represents a non-balanced system. One single current that links it's power with another current can become strong enough to rearrange the whole pattern. The path that it chooses in this unstable condition is unpredictable, spontaneous, presumably creative. It is here that deterministic laws collapse. This is the "Solve et Coagula" (dissolve and bind) of alchemy." (Ilya Prigogine)

In the eight (of Disks) we see "Prudence" as a time between seeds being sown and harvest, we must assist the growth of what we have begun by removing the weeds which threaten to strangle the tree - the Sun in Virgo ♍ is active here, indicating that there is a strong accord with the elements of nature and that we have the ability to live in harmony with it. We allow nature then to take its course but remove any dross that might accumulate in order to encourage growth.

The (3 of) Wands echo the six-pointed double pyramid of the Prince's chariot which speaks of universal and spiritual energies on an internal level, tapping into deeper dimensions.

With the Sun as a central force 🔘 there is the necessary Unity of Spirit, Soul and Body which allows the Prince to let himself be guided by the Primal Will as would the Charioteer.

Here we see (albeit in a different order numerically), a beginning, a middle and an end.

The blue sphinx on top of the Wheel resembles the Magician who in turn is the dancing figure of the World, the Air (spoken communication, unspoken thoughts) of the sword turning into a Fiery wand (the application of Will and intention).

The sphinx has risen above the mundane rotation of the Wheel, having distanced itself, the Magician has all the tools he needs now that his spirit is free - and he is shown as the dancing figure of The World, free to be him/herself.

The sphinx's crown has five points on it, symbolic of the quintessence of the essential being, the consciousness that unites all the aspects of our humanity. Once united, the sphinx is the Magician, able to move between the unconscious and the super-conscious, this extra unseen dimension "shown" as the unseen fourth leg of his trestle table - it is located (out of the frame) in the higher reality of the World. The Magician has united the objects on his table in The World as angel/Cups (to know), eagle/Swords (to dare), lion/Wands (to will) and ox/Disks (to be silent).

In the yellow bands of the mandorla, we can just about see a hidden Star (above) and an incubating egg (below) of The Empress.

The Magician has a tiny mandorla between his feet - he is glancing backwards about to discover it, even though it was there (within him) all along.

He looks to the Wheel, the handle points towards him, is he now contemplating on turning the wheel, taking control of his own destiny?

The "hidden" Star tells us that the Magician achieves his goal through meditation, the "unbroken flow of knowledge in a particular object", fishing for truths in the depths of the subconscious (his inner "World") - think also of the large celestial star of the Star card as The Wheel being manifested by the woman engrossed in her task of nourishing her universal consciousness (the pool of water) whilst undistracted by any Worldly concerns (the sphinx), she is in turn the dancing figure of the World - the blue wreath being the water flowing from her pitchers as one (having united their respective dualities).

O Lugar Secreto

Como qualquer material do meu arquivo pessoal, ele está disponível para ser enviado na íntegra por e-mail ou discord. Correções, links, itálico e negrito adicionados por mim.

Gostaria, primeiramente, de citar um trecho de um caderno especial do Dr. Case sobre o que ele chamou de um dos principais objetivos do ocultismo. Em seguida, mostrarei um método para atingir esse objetivo.

OBJETIVOS DO OCULTISMO: 1. Tornar a personalidade humana um veículo perfeito para a Consciência Objetiva Universal, por meio da reorganização e do aperfeiçoamento do corpo físico. 2. Objetivar como realidades tangíveis as possibilidades latentes, potenciais, invisíveis e intangíveis da Consciência Subjetiva, em uma vida de crescimento, progresso e realização contínuos. 3. Tornar a personalidade humana — corpo, alma e espírito — um meio transparente para a expressão da Consciência Divina. Não uma união passiva, não um objetivo místico que busca a absorção no Uno, mas a realização consciente dos objetivos de Deus e o compartilhamento consciente de Sua obra. Isso inclui ajudar os outros a expressar o mesmo poder e consciência, porque a única razão pela qual Deus cria é para se expressar.

Quando nos sentamos para meditar em nossa sala especial, canto ou cadeiras, conforme o caso, aquietamos nossas mentes e emoções. Centramos nossa consciência em um lugar interior. Este não é um "lugar" como o conhecido em nosso mundo tridimensional; é um estado de consciência. Neste estado ou centro de consciência, experimentamos paz silenciosa, poder, amor, sabedoria e, frequentemente, lampejos de Iluminação. Este lugar ou estado é o que é referido no Salmo 91: "Aquele que habita no esconderijo do Altíssimo descansará à sombra de suas asas". Neste estado de vibração mental e emocional mais elevada, podemos experimentar uma consciência de unidade com Deus, nossos semelhantes e toda a natureza. Unidade, em vez da ilusão de separação que nos assalta quando reentramos em nossa vida de atividade diária e nos deparamos com os vários problemas, desarmonias, crises e testes de um tipo ou outro.

O que quero dizer é que, sempre que nos depararmos com esses testes e provações de confusão, frustração, desânimo, monotonia e tédio, podemos, mentalmente, imediatamente nos imaginar de volta ao nosso local de meditação e nos sintonizar com a vibração mais elevada do nosso "lugar secreto". Aquele centro de poder dentro de nossa consciência que os cristãos chamam de "Cristo Pessoal, o Eu Divino". Não disse Jesus, o Cristo, "Aquele que me conhece conhece o Pai" e "Meu Pai e eu estamos em perfeita união"?

Se praticarmos um retorno constante ao nosso "lugar secreto", onde reside nosso poder e segurança, podemos e iremos transmutar nossas personalidades e nos tornar os canais límpidos que aspiramos ser. Descobriremos que podemos realizar qualquer coisa que desejarmos, com habilidade e facilidade, pois esse centro interno de poder secreto é como o giroscópio no porão de um navio, que sempre o mantém em equilíbrio, mesmo nas piores tempestades. Uma última palavra… deixe que o Mago, a Alta Sacerdotisa e o Eremita o ajudem em seus esforços.
