This postcard c. 1937 from Adolph and Esther Gottlieb was addressed to the artist Paul Bodin, and refers to their friends, artists Milton and Sally Avery. This postcard reads:
“Rented a farm house and are enjoying all the comforts of home. Spent first few days at boarding house and decided we preferred house keeping. Only a few miles from the Averys. Decided to let my checks wait till I return. Swell landscape and doing sketches and watercolors. Till today it’s been hot here too. How are you all?
Love, Adolph and Esther”
