Dakota Landscape- Calcination and Accumulation, Paul Peterson
This painting was inspired by the prairie landscape of the Great Plains. The viewer will get a sense of the "wild" open spaces and unbound possibility of the Upper Midwest. The title reflects an interest in equating the process of painting with the Stage of Spiritual Alchemy. Calcination being the first of the stages and Accumulation being my addition/ interpretation.
