I think Paul should survive Alecto the Ninth and they should grapple with the horrors of immortality in bad ways. I want them to keep that quality Campal had of being somewhat normal and rational on the outside but unsettling on the inside. I want their actions to appear as regular and unassuming to everyone else but with the context of their existence they become horrifying. I want them to feel odd things about having studied psychometry and now being old enough to have witnessed history. I want them to have a complex relationship with death. I want Pyrrha to survive as well, and I want the two of them to have the strangest dynamic.
