Did I want kids. Hell, who knows what I wanted back when I still had a body. Doesn’t matter. I’ve long been second to the saint of duty, and duty trumps all want.

As for the kid. Mine/Gideon’s I thought. Something like that. I was wrong

It just occurred to me that when Wake in Cyth's body shoots Mercy with the Herald bullet, that's gotta be Pyrrha's gun. Like, I just somehow never questioned Wake having a gun but now that I have, obviously, right? And we know Pyrrha has Herald bullets in NtN, so that extra tracks. So my questions now are:

How long had Wake known Pyrrha stole them? Did she realize immediately? Did she notice they were gone but not know who took them until she lucked across them on the Mithraem? Did G1deon or Pyrrha steal them from her shuttle after killing her??

Hell, were the whole guns stolen from her? Had they kept any all this time despite John's very anti-gun policy or were this shotgun and pistol (and maybe more) recent acquisitions? I'd sort of assumed based on the guns in their lab that they'd just kept some, but would John "necromantically preserve" firearms for G1deon as like, Lyctor Privileges / trusting him to use them responsibly (especially if his necromancy is weaker than the others', if I'm right that he was originally the cav and based on him using zero offensive necromancy in the series, only removing obstacles between him and his weapons)? Or maybe he'd done so for Pyrrha back in the earliest days, and G1deon had kept them "for sentimental value"? Or would John have been averse to that, such that any old guns would have eventually worn out after so much time? (Does Pyrrha have a shady gun dealer? lmao)

And, when did Wake get the gun? Did Pyrrha give it to her on purpose, or "accidentally" leave it somewhere for her to find, or did she find and take it? Was this before or after the incinerator incident? It seems like they were in some level of communication before and also that she probably helped Wake contact BoE at least once post-humously, but how much, for how long? It sure seems like G1deon fought for a long while, and then when he died(? still mysterious) Pyrrha came more or less straight to John's chambers ... carrying a different gun ready to shoot Wake / release her ghost (/ possibly let her attach to her new 'murder' weapon), so... Did she know Wake would confront John that night, or just have a suspicion? Did Wake do so hoping the RB being close would make him more vulnerable, or did John just happen to catch her?

God I want to know more of what was going on in the background on the Mithraem...
